By calling our Advice Line access number (03444 88 9629) our clients access a county-wide assessment interview, the telephone assessor can interview the client, establish their needs and respond appropriately.
This response can be one of either:
- Directed information to enable the client to process the problem themselves.
- Booking an appointment with the relevant bureau for a ring-back or face to face appointment.
- Booking an appointment with a specialist agency.
Our appointments booking system allows us to book an appointment appropriate to the clients location.
Where the initial interview/assessment has identified that fuller advice can only be delivered face to face, either because of the complexities of the problem or because supporting documents are required, then an appointment will be made for the client to visit the service at a specified time and date.
In certain circumstances it maybe possible for us to arrange a home visit but only if you need help with your benefits. We will need to conduct a telephone assessment prior to agreeing to arrange a Home Visit.
